INTRODUCING THE MOTORSPORT 100

The Concept

A panel of 100 selected organisations, chosen to represent the full range of Motorsport Valley.  The 100 will include F1 teams, chassis builders, engine and component makers, education providers and the motorcycle and historic racing sectors.

A barometer of opinion and a voice for the industry, including a quarterly indicator of the health of UK motorsport: the M100 index.  Publication of a confidence index has been used successfully by other sectors to raise their profile.

A media campaign to develop understanding of motorsport as an important industry sector and contributor to the UK ecomony.  This would focus on gaining coverage in non-traditional media such as the business and financial press.

What's the deal?
Member companies undertake to complete a survey, 4 times a year.  This will be handled by a professional firm, which will maintain the confidentiality of individual replies if desired.  The content will be set by Motorsport Development UK's Research Group, which includes academic and industry representatives.

In return, members will be featured in a dedicated M100 publication and website and will have the opportunity to be quoted or featured as exemplars of UK motorsport.  Members will have the right to use the Motorsport 100 roundel.
